G.H. MUMM iconic cuvée Cordon Rouge received a rating of 92 points in Wine Spectator Magazine this month. The renowned US magazine editor described Cordon Rouge as follows:
“Toast and dried fruit notes mix in this very harmonious dry Champagne, which is full of flavor – dried apricot, candied orange peel, nut and smoke – but still elegant and light-weight. The rich, toasty note lingers on the vibrant finish. Drink now through 2020.”
Wine Spectator editors review more than 15,000 wines from around the world each year in blind tastings and is the foremost authority of wine in the US. Ratings reflect how highly tasters regards each wine relative to other wines. Judges include renowned US wine experts and editors such as Tom Matthews, Bruce Sanderson, James Laube, Harvey Steiman.
