The best high tea in Florence

If you’re familiar with Florence then you know that coffee is great wherever you go in the city. However we discovered a superb place for one of the best high ever!

It takes place in the Four Seasons Hotel, a very swanky palazzo just north-east of the Duomo.

The Four Seasons Firenze is an enchanted city sanctuary in the midst of Florence, where an art-filled Renaissance palazzo and conventino frame a centuries-old private park. Relax amidst original frescoes and sculptured reliefs, graced by sunlight and airy garden vistas. Sip espresso under majestic trees, lounge by the open-air pool or bask in Italian spa secrets. Wonders of the Uffizi and Duomo are a stroll away. Tuscan hill towns beckon.

Immersed in an expansive private walled garden with winding paths, fountains and outdoor seating, it benefits from one of the most beautiful natural spaces on the right bank of the Arno.

So after feeling like royalty sit down and enjoy the high tea. youwill need to book this in advance, but it’s a great experience.

Even the tea service, cups and saucers were designed and produced especially for the hotel. It depicts the elegant Renaissance building in the garden.

From deliciously fresh-cut finger food, to scones, and much more, it was all top quality ingredients and top quality execution. I had a Japanese Sencha tea, which came as a loose leaves and was superb! My companion had a Darjeeling with a drop of milk.
