Apparently Hof Van Cleve is charging 100€ for no-shows. What do we think about that?
Personally I think that clients should have the reflex to call up the restaurant to cancel themselves of course. However if you have personal, medical or other problems that result in a no-show at the restaurant, then the last thing you want is a fine! And somehow I also think that if the waiting lists of restaurants are too long, it’s a problem that they create themselves.
Maybe more Belgian restaurants should start using Open Table, a web based reservation system?
