Halaal restaurants in Cape Town

There was a time in Cape Town that Bokaap was thé place to avoid especially afer dark, now you wouldn’t be able to buy a house there for less than 100,000€.

So I read an interesting list from the Cape Town Tourism Board which you should take with you when you’re in town!

In Cape Town, there are plenty of restaurants and cafés that cater for visitors and residents who prefer their meals to be cooked according to Halaal standards.
Visit Bo-Kaap Kombuis in the city centre or Tashreeqa’s in the Southern Suburbs and many others all on the Peninsula to get your fill of tasty Malay foods. Visiting any of these excellent restaurants is like being back in your mom’s kitchen on a Sunday morning, I swear!
